Information Oter May Collect

Account and authentication data: email address, sign-in provider, account identifiers, preferences, and settings.
User content: voice recordings, audio snippets, transcripts, notes, summaries, tasks, reminders, calendar-style instructions, grocery lists, priorities, and other content you choose to create.
Permission-based data: microphone access for voice capture, notification permission for reminders, and other permissions shown by the operating system before access is granted.
App activity and diagnostics: app version, device type, operating system, crash reports, error logs, performance data, security events, and feature usage needed to operate and improve Oter.
Support information: messages, attachments, identifiers, and correspondence you send when requesting help.

How We Use Information

Provide Oter's voice capture, transcription, note organization, reminder, task, summary, and assistant features.
Authenticate users, maintain accounts, prevent abuse, and protect service security.
Respond to support, privacy, deletion, and product requests.
Debug errors, improve reliability, and understand whether features are working as intended.
Comply with law, platform requirements, accounting duties, and App Store obligations.

AI Processing and User Content

Oter may process voice recordings, transcripts, notes, and related user content with AI systems to provide requested features such as summaries, task extraction, reminders, categorization, and assistant responses. We do not use your user content to train AI models unless we clearly disclose that practice and obtain any consent required by law or platform rules.

Tracking, Advertising, and Sale of Data

We do not sell personal information. Oter does not track you across apps and websites owned by other companies for advertising or advertising measurement unless we disclose that practice and obtain permissions required by applicable law and Apple's App Tracking Transparency rules. We do not use hidden fingerprinting techniques.

Sharing Information

We may share information with service providers that help operate Oter, including hosting, authentication, AI processing, transcription, diagnostics, analytics, support, security, and communications providers. These providers must protect user data and use it only for authorized purposes. We may also share information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.

Retention and Deletion

We keep information only as long as needed to provide Oter, maintain accounts, support users, comply with legal duties, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, and improve reliability. You may request deletion of your Oter account or user content by contacting privacy@tiptopunion.com. We may retain limited records where required for legal, security, accounting, or dispute purposes.

Your Choices

You can revoke microphone, notification, and other app permissions in your device settings. You can also contact us to request access, correction, deletion, export, restriction, or other privacy assistance where applicable law provides those rights. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Children

Oter is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by local law. If you believe a child provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us so we can review and delete it where required.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No online service is completely secure, but we work to maintain safeguards appropriate for the sensitivity of user notes, voice content, and account information.

International Processing

Oter may process information in Hong Kong, the United States, the European Economic Area, and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.
